For the holiday season we decorated the building and have set up a couple of very nice railroadiana displays. Then to add that little something extra Billy Smith set up a Lionel train running around our Christmas tree. Everything was ready just in time for us to open the station for 3 events in December. They included 2 events run by the town; The Holiday Stroll, where they used the station to hand out Christmas tree ornaments; then came Santa picture day the next week. Then on December 19 th we had the building open for the purpose it was first build for, a passenger station. The NYS&W T&HS used the building to distribute tickets during their Santa Train Rides. Many hundreds of people got to see everything we had set up and through a pamphlet that K.C. made up they got to learn about the VRA.

Thanks go out to Paul Trabert, Larry Ten Hoven, Bob Blumenstock, Joe Weber, K.C. and Billy Smith. With out their efforts none of the above could have happened.
