BR&W work report
May 19th, 2004
Dick Ray, Pete Stagg, Charlie Roselius, Craig Hartmann, Al Elliot, and myself worked on the BR&W in Lambertville yesterday. The day started with Rod, of the BR&W, giving each of us Roadway Workers Protection approvals for work on the BR&W. At about 9:30 we got to Lambertville and got Al’s motorcar set on to the tracks. We went south to cut some more brush and trees toward the center of Lambertville. The steel fabricator moved a crane and rack truck to allow us to pass further south. They also moved some telephone poles that are being used as edging in their parking lot. Cut trees and brush were removed from the area to a point further north along the right of way. After lunch we decided to go north to survey the line toward Ringoes. We have some areas of brush to remove. And one large tree just south of Ringoes, but all in all the track is in good shape.
