Work Day at Flemington
Tuesday August 3 rd, 2004
Today Charley, KC, and I did mowing and vegetation control at Flemington with the A5 and our usual tools. KC got the car down there with no problems and they had a good place to unload it. Kyle was our BR&WRR pilot all day, and we got him trained on the rotary mower. Instead of the planned mowing south though, it became necessary to cut at Flemington. Several crossings needed opening so we took care of it. Then we went to lunch in the shade by the ice-cream shop. To say it was hot would be an understatement! Feeling confident, we tried mowing south. The sickle bar worked well though and we did one side to Boss Road. (from Dick Ray)
