I met with the company that is moving station today and was told that as long as they do not run into any major problems the station is on schedule to be moved around September 1st.  Knowing that there are many people who would like to see the station being moved I asked if it was possible to make the move on a Saturday.  I am happy to report that they agreed and again as long as they do not run into any major problems the move will take place on Saturday September 4th.  If anything changes I will let you all know.
While I was there today I took some pictures of the progress being made and have attached them to this e-mail.

South view of steel beam that run the length of the building on the railroad side.

In the pictures you will see that the steel beam that run the length of the building on the railroad side is in place.  The next step is to get the beam in that will run in the middle of the station from the Royal Ave side to the beam on the track side.  When that is done the Royal Ave side beam will be put in and then the 2 end beams.  This will all hopefully be done by the end of this week, so if you are by the station stop by and check out the progress.

The other photo is of Larry DiBello who’s company is doing the move enjoying a break in front of his work.
