Joseph K. Weber Memorial Fund

The Joseph K. Weber Memorial Fund was set up because about 10 days before Joe passed away he asked me to have the VRA take his railroad related items and sell them if he passed away. He asked that we use the money to fund railroad related projects that we saw fit to donate too, like sending a kid to Rail Camp or helping to restore a piece of equipment for the State museum effort.

When he passed away his Dad took the idea a little further by asking that people donate to the fund instead of sending flowers, which many people did. We have so far received over $1000 in donations and anyone who is interested in supporting the fund that way can still do so. Checks should be written to the Joseph K. Weber Memorial Fund and be sent to us at the station, 80 Royal Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506.
