Greetings VRA,
I am proud to announce the return of our greatly successful–and fun–Santa Claus Trains! This year’s train has been requested to run on Saturday, December 1 out of Glen Rock-Boro Hall and run east towards Seacaucus and return at 9:30, 12 and 2:30.
***Our first meeting will be at 6pm this Saturday, September 15th in Boonton yard. (100 Morris Ave. Boonton, NJ)***
For some early information:
This year’s train will be chaired by Betsy Newbury and myself and Kevin Rebner has volunteered to be the Character Coordinator once again. Betsy will be Crew Caller and I will be working with NJ Transit and coordinating advertising and logistics.
We will be going over all the details of the planning, advertising, train crew and everything in between. We need VOLUNTEERS this year more than EVER!! And I personally would like to see some NEW faces come out along with the veterans.
We hope to see you there this Saturday, September 15th at 6pm in the Boonton Yard!
