This Saturday May 25th we will celebrate Memorial Day weekend with another run of the very popular Motorcar. Trains brought to you by the Cape May Seashore Lines and staffed by the Volunteer Railroads Association members.

The Motorcar Trains will operate from the railroad crossing on Rt. 47 in Rio Grande, NJ just behind the Rio Grande Fire department, look for a couple of our motorcars parked at the crossing marking the location.

The almost 4 mile ride lasts about 40 minutes and takes passengers up to the site of the former Wildwood Jct. station where we will talk about the history of the station, the rail line that went to Wildwood and the history of the area.

Trains will depart every hour on the hour starting at 10am with the last departure at 3pm. Tickets are just $10

for adults and $5 for kids under 12, children under 2 not occupying a seat are free. Tickets can be reserved by emailing us at vratrips@yahoo.com. Any remaining tickets can be purchased the day of the trips at the boarding location with cash or credit card.

All proceeds from these trips go to help the Volunteer Railroads Association (VRA), preserve railroad history. The VRA is a 501c3 non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible.
